Between Wing & Bloom was such a fantastic opportunity to reflect on my new body of work, while simutaniously inspiring me to take lead on my preferred works, and recognise what the public were drawn to (surprising and encouraging!) I’m grateful for the chance to exhibit this collection – a gathering of natural matterials, inspiring locations, sketchbook installments, photography, paintings and the beginning of new sculptural work. The beautiful natural light of the Green Gallery was a fitting space to experiment with oak tree katkins hanging delicately in a suspended form.
I had many pleasant conversations with visitors, and was grateful for the positive feedback and to connect over a love of collecting stones with so many! It is wonderful to be part of a collective filled with so many diverse people, it gives me pride.
