The Art and Nature Collective presents What We Hold Still, a postcard-scale exhibition bringing together sixteen artists and forty-five works exploring stillness, attention, and the quietly significant.
Showing across media including watercolour, print, charcoal, photography, and the sculptural, the exhibition asks what happens when we slow down enough to really look at a fragment, a detail, a moment we might otherwise let slip past. All works are postcard-sized, making intimacy central to the experience: small in scale, but carrying real weight.
Stillness here is not always calm. It can be tense, loaded, or hard-won. Smallness is not always modest it can hold awe, memory, or an entire landscape.
The Art and Nature Collective is a Dundee-based Community Interest Company supporting artists whose practice engages with the natural, non-human world. Through exhibitions, workshops, and partnerships with scientific and environmental organisations, the Collective creates opportunities for artists at all career stages while raising awareness of the natural world through art.
